After moving around the country in a variety of different rent to own positions, John Miller and his wife decided to make a small town outside of Roanoke Virginia their home thirteen years ago.
"As hard as you work in this industry, I decided that after 20 years it was time to open my own business" said John. John is an avid reader of industry publications. The many articles, references, and advertising on The Premier Companies caught his attention. He was aware that several of their franchisees were coming from other rent to own companies and made the decision to reach out to Trooper Earle, President and CEO of The Premier Companies. While exploring the opportunity of opening his own Premier Rental-Purchase store, he knew right away that Premier was the right fit for him and his family. A key component to making his decision was the understanding of the support systems in place, yet having flexibility to run the store the way he felt is needed for his community.
It's been four years since John opened his doors in Roanoke. It's challenging yet exciting for John as he wears many different hats as the owner of his own store. "I love what I do, it's very fulfilling for me and I don't feel like I'm going to work. I'm going to the shop to serve my customers and to develop my team. I find this fun!" said John with a grin on his face.
"It's very rewarding for our company to see the compassion and excitement within our dealer network as John has," says Trooper Earle. "He exemplifies the type of owner and operator we want within our organization. We hope to add many more owners like him this year," says Trooper.
