After 32 years in the Rent to Own industry working for someone else, Jim Forker has now opened his 5th Premier Rental Purchase location in less than 7 years.
Jim opened his first Premier Rental-Purchase store in Benton Harbor, Michigan in 2005. His hard work, motivation, and desire to succeed have driven him to the opening of his 5th store in Dowagiac, Michigan. He has two other stores in Michigan and one in Indiana. Jim is very involved with his stores on a daily basis. Knowing that he cannot be at each location every day, Jim has assembled an experienced, aggressive, management team. Jim stays constantly aware of each stores sales, operations, and daily successes.
Jim's dedication to sharing with his employees the vision for his company's future is a major part of their continued success. “I had a vision for my business and that vision was to treat people like family,” said Jim. “I have found a group of good, solid, loyal people to work with. They are my #1 asset.”
Earlier this year at The Premier Companies 2012 Convention, Jim was named The Premier Companies 2011 Dealer of the Year. “Jim is a very passionate, vocal, and driven person. He continues to push his team and business to strive for even greater success,” said Trooper Earle, The Premier Companies President and CEO.
“I've always had dreams of being a multi-store owner,” said Jim, “and I do not plan to stop with my 5th store.” Jim plans to enjoy his 5 stores for now, however will be looking to open additional stores the Fall of 2013.
